Bob Adams Seattle, Washington Instructor Director, InvestEd Inc. Bob prepares the InvestEd DVD and assembles the handouts. A director for the Puget Sound Chapter since 1994, he teaches at local, regional, and national levels, including webinars for ICLUBcentral. Bob creates innovative free tools (spreadsheets) and recommends useful websites that help long-term investors streamline their stock research. He is a member of the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club and past president of a local investment club. Bob retired after 26 years in radio and television broadcasting and 13 years of college teaching. Bob’s website reflects his strong advocacy of long-term fundamental investing.

Jerry Addleman Dover, Pennsylvania Director, InvestEd Inc. Jerry provides audiovisual support for the InvestEd conference. He teaches at local, regional, and national levels. Jerry is the computer contact, treasurer, and an instructor for the Central Pennsylvania Chapter. He is the treasurer of the chapter’s model club, the Learn and Earn Model Investment Club, and is treasurer for several other investment clubs. Jerry is assistant treasurer for the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club.

Brian Altschul Cedar Grove, New Jersey Instructor Director, InvestEd Inc. Brian planned the InvestEd 2010 curriculum. He proudly served as the chair of the inaugural conference in 2007 and helped develop the 2008 Leadership Training Program. Brian has been a director for the New Jersey Chapter since 2000. He was a founding member and former president of an investment club established in 1998 and is a former member of the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club. Professionally, Brian manages the computer systems of a large department. He has a BS in mathematics and an MBA in computer systems.

Don Cassidy Lakewood, Colorado Instructor Don is founder and president of the Retirement Investing Institute, a foundation educating investors but without a product-sales agenda. He has written five books for individual investors. Previously he was senior research analyst and media spokesperson for Lipper, the mutual-funds trackers; earlier he was a sell-side research analyst for a regional brokerage firm. A member of the CFA Society of Colorado, he is program chair of the Denver chapter of AAII and lectures on investing at several Colorado universities. He earned a BS in Economics cum laude with a finance concentration at the Wharton School.

Joe Craig Ellicott City, Maryland Instructor Vice President, InvestEd Inc. Joe is a member of the InvestEd organizing committee. In addition, Joe is responsible for the WiFi network and for configuring the computers. He is a long-time leader of online investing communities and currently participates in the development of StockCentral.com, a website for individual investors and investment clubs. Joe is a member of the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club, and he was a founding member of the Pioneer Online Investment Club (POLIC), believed to be the first completely online investment club.

Mary Ann Davis Hartland, Wisconsin Instructor Director, InvestEd Inc.
Mary Ann is co-leader of the InvestEd Cyber Cafe. She enjoys teaching at national, regional, local, and club events. Mary Ann is a former director and computer group coordinator for the Milwaukee Chapter. She received the Dick Dwyer Service Award in 1995. Mary Ann is a founding partner of the Ladies vs. Market Investment Club and was a member of the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, she also studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and at the New York Institute of Finance™ with Ralph Acampora. Mary Ann is a retired teacher and photographer.

John Diercks State College, Pennsylvania Instructor John teaches financial classes at local, regional, and national levels. Currently John is a chapter director and a member and treasurer of two investment clubs, including the Centre Region Model Investment Club, one of the two Central Pennsylvania Chapter's model clubs. With advanced degrees in meteorology, John spent 26 years in the Air Force and 16 years as an instructor of meteorology at The Pennsylvania State University before retirement.

Kathleen Floyd Washington, District of Columbia Instructor Deputy Director Investor Education SEC Kathy Floyd, Deputy Director for Investor Education for the US Securities and Exchange Commission comes to the SEC from the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Foundation, where she was the Executive Director of the Stock Market Game. The Stock Market Game taught savings and investing to almost a million students annually. She previously served as Director of Baltimore Academies for Baltimore City Public Schools. She is a graduate of Drew and George Washington Universities.

Sandy Gallemore Statesboro, Georgia Editor Director, InvestEd Inc. Sandy is an InvestEd editor and co-produces the program brochure. She is a founding director and current president of the Coastal Georgia/South Carolina Chapter and has received the Thomas E. O’Hara Award for volunteer service. Sandy is a charter member and current president of the Women Investing Now Investment Club of Statesboro GA. She presents introductory investment programs, helps form investment clubs, and teaches stock study classes at local and regional events. Sandy is Professor Emerita of Kinesiology, Georgia Southern University, where she worked in the area of physical education teacher education.

He is the author of five books, including The Complete Idiot's Guide to Investing, The Armchair Millionaire, and Investment Clubs for Dummies, and is a popular speaker, investment educator, and expert in the DIY investing movement. A former editor and columnist for Mutual Funds Magazine, Doug also is Editor-in-Chief of the Investor Advisory Service, a monthly stock newsletter founded in 1973.

The Investment Education Institute honored him with the Distinguished Service Award. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 1991 and has been a professional portfolio manager for the past 33 years. Phil is a past president of the CFA Society of South Florida and is a past president of the Financial Analysts of South Florida. Judith Russ Leon Dartmouth, Massachusetts Lead Editor Director, InvestEd Inc. Judith is the InvestEd lead editor and writes content for the website and for promotional material. She taught classes, and she wrote and edited articles about long-term investing principles for print and online publications at local, regional, and national levels. She pioneered teaching online stock study workshops and developed a model for an investor education workshop series. Judith received the first Kenfield-Burris Award for service to the online investing community. She was a director, vice president of education, and web editor for the Massachusetts Chapter, organized and mentored numerous investment clubs, and is a founding member and secretary of the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club. Judith worked and taught in medical diagnostic and research laboratories.

Jack McCreery Washington, District of Columbia Instructor Senior Counsel, Office of Investor Education and Advocacy SEC Mr. McCreery is a Senior Counsel in the Commission's Office of Investor Education and Advocacy (OIEA). OIEA carries out the Commission's investor education program and responds to tens of thousands of investor inquiries each year, addressing consumer questions and complaints on a wide range of securities-related topics, including investments and financial professionals. OIEA also provides input on rulemaking and other policy issues that impact individual investors. Mr. McCreery holds a Juris Doctor from St. John's School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Villanova University.

Lynn Ostrem Minneapolis, Minnesota Instructor Lynn is a former director and instructor for the Minnesota and Central Iowa Chapters. She founded the nationally known Crow River Investment Club where she is currently the club's president and web mistress. Lynn is a regular participant on the national investing discussion lists, and she plans and hosts investor education events in Minneapolis, MN. When she is not pursuing her passion for stocks, Lynn is busy managing her consulting firm, specializing in the industrial waste and recycling arena.

For more than a decade he has regularly contributed help about tax and investment issues to several online discussion groups. He received the 2005 Kenfield-Burris Award for service to the online community. Ira is a founding member and current treasurer of Lakshmi Investments LLC. Although trained as a chemist and chemical engineer, Ira has been a professional tax preparer, bookkeeper, and financial coach for more than two decades.

Phil Sudore Ontario, New York Instructor Phil was an organizing director for the Rochester (NY) Chapter and taught the Stock Selection Guide, Toolkit, Portfolio Record Keeper (currently Portfolio Manager), and portfolio management classes and held the offices of president, treasurer, and director. Phil organized and currently hosts a virtual club of chapter officers that serves as a perk for volunteering with the local chapter. Professionally he is a senior programmer analyst with a Rochester NY college’s information technology department. Phil enjoys computer applications for investing, personal finance, and managing taxes, but especially revels in talking with other investors about all things financial.

Brad Taylor Huntsville, Alabama Instructor President, Churr Software Brad is the president of Churr Software. He is the author of the Stock Investment Guide (SIG) stock analysis software and a founding member of Valley Investment Partners (VIP), an investment club that began in 1990. Brad is a rocket scientist in his day job, serving as a program manager for a government contractor. He has a BS in electrical engineering and an MS in systems management. Brad founded Churr Software to develop stock analysis tools for Macintosh owners, as well as for Windows users.

Kathy Tegtmeier Folsom, California Instructor Kathy is the chair of the InvestEd Newbie Program. She has taught at local and national investor education events and is especially fond of teaching beginners. Kathy is a member of two investment clubs. This year she retired as president of the online CGAB Alumni Investment Club. She has a PhD in biological sciences and is retired from management in the computer industry. She and her husband are revamping their slightly shabby home. She enjoys orienteering and golfing when not replacing her kitchen or landscaping her backyard.

He is a past president and vice-president of the former Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter.
